My friends gets engaged easily

Hi, I was wondering about this whole engagment thing, I have 2 friends who are engaged (1got married last week) how are they engaged so easily, they are pretty but not good at cooking and being good housewives in general I think and are pretty unfaithful ... I was wondering what do you think. I wish them the best but to my opinion loyalty is very important and I think I'm a great housewife even though I'm not engaged yet, plus I'm holding on to doing  200% so I don't give up all my potential before hand .. Hahaha ! What do you guys think ?
