Weird Cramps.. Please help!

I've been having these really odd cramps that feel like period cramps the past week that seem to only be on one side of me, I even feel nauseous at times because of this cramp. My periods not for another week, so I'm in the middle of my cycle. Is this normal? Does any one have a possible explanation for this?
