What's you guy's opinion on long distance relationships?

My boyfriend and I are coming to a point in our relationship where we may be separated and only get to see eachother on the weekends.. I'm afraid for our relationship.

Regular Skype is good, my husband had to work away for awhile and sexy pictures and Skype kept things going for us. It's hard, like really hard, but if you love eachother you find ways to make it work. Try not to stress about it too much, that makes it worse. You need to sort of take it all in your stride and make sure you NEVER make him feel guilty for not being there all the time, chances are he's not enjoying it much either. Good luck xxx

I'm currently in a long distance relationship where I can only see my boyfriend about 5 or 6 times a year. We are 19hours driving distance away, and try to book flights for a week or two when possible. Not going to lie, it sucks and I miss him more than words can explain every day, but it's worth it for us and it's possible! He still makes me incredibly happy everyday, and the times we are together make it all worth it. You'll have to adapt to knew normals, like scheduling time to FaceTime in place of dates, or sending each other care packages. Stay strong and support each other through it, best of luck

I'm in a LDR with my bf. We dated for 10 months in high school then he went off to college while I'm going to community college and there's a 2 hr. drive that separates us. We try to visit at least once a month and we also live in the same home town so that's a blessing.

I'm managing. I've been in my relationship for 4 years where we're about two hours away but neither of us has ever needed to go outside twenty minutes. We also can't always afford to visit all the time. So it's skype and visits when we can squeeze them into our schedule. Long distance can work but if you have any control try to make it not be very long.
