Is back pain normal during ovulation?

Last month I was 9 days late and then when I started it was 4 days of spotting. So we're back to square one on trying and my fertile days are suppose to start tomorrow. I'm experiencing lower back pain and cramps. I know cramps can sometimes happen but is back pain with that normal?
