Ultrasound?

I got my BFP on Saturday and Glow says I'm 4w 3d. I have my first appointment to get it confirmed with my family doctor tomorrow. When should I expect an ultrasound? What is normal?

I had my first visit today and she thinks I'm around 5 weeks and the u/s only showed a sac which I am told is normal. I go back in 8 days for an EDD since I don't know my LMP. Good luck!

My doctor won't see you until your at least 8 weeks. So I won't get my ultrasound until January. 😁

A lot of ultra sounds aren't scheduled until 8-12 weeks, it just depends on the Doctor and where you live. Around my town, you're lucky if they pay attention to you before 12 weeks. Only people in my situation (history of ectopic pregnancies) get in earlier than that. It really just depends on where you live and what kind of availability the docs have! They usually won't do one before 5/6weeks, though.

I just called to schedule my first appointment today. They wanted to see me at 6 weeks bur because I will be traveling for the holidays, I will be seen at 9 weeks

My first ultrasound appt. is scheduled for 6 weeks 5 days. My doctor doesn't do them before 6 weeks, because there's really not much that can be seen before then.

I was told that you can't see anything on an ultra sound until 6-7 weeks. I'm 4 weeks and 1 day today. So I am right behind you!
