So I went to the doctor last Friday and confirmed that I had a yeast infection ): boo. She put me on the seven day cream treatment that is safe for pregnant women. However, the infection unfortunately affected my husband. ): he also got a cream for his, and we have both been treating our infections and they are healing just fine (thank goodness!) but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced transferring their infection to their parter, and if so HOW LONG SHOULD WE WAIT TO HAVE SEX AGAIN? I'm assuming for me it would be after the seven days if my symptoms have cleared up, but I was wondering how long for him? I know men are supposed to use the treatment for 10-14 days, and that if not properly healed they can reinfect their partners. And I definitely DO NOT want another one of these any time soon. So any recommendations? I forgot to ask the doctor. Thanks!
