6cm dilated 70% effaced and no labor??

I am 38 weeks on Friday. My doctor doesn't want to induce me since I'm still a little early. But I'm 6cm dilated, 70% effaced and baby is at 0 station. And STILL no labor. What gives?? 😫

Wow, thats amazing! I cant believe they haven't sent you to L&D! Did your soc recommend anything to help get you to 100%, I mean come on 70% and 6. When you do get there baby is gonna slide right out!

They can't induce with pitocin with a VBAC, but they can break your water. Water breaking is natural and something that will happen anyway.

Hmm..interesting with my second I was 6 1/2 cm. I had no clue and labor hadn't started on its own yet either but they kept me and broke my water to get things going.

I hope that I can dilate that far with no contractions,  that great. Like someone said when you finally do go into labor, you'll be ready to push too.

I station means he just on the top part of your pelvis.. Baby needs to come down a lot more. -5 is your goal. Try walking upstairs or going for a bumpy ride anything that will help gravity out.

Raspberry leaf tea' and or evening primrose oil! Look it up! People swear by it and I have jumped on all of that today! 38 weeks 2cm 47% effaced! Praying for u' good luck!

I am right now 38 weeks today.. 😊 my 2 weeks to do.. My 14 days left to do.. My baby is boy.. My first baby.. My due in December 17 12 2015.. 😄 it's ok Don worry.. Your delivery time coming soon.. 😊
