Move on?

She is pregnant almost 6 months, broke up with her man and doesn't want to see him other than things involving the baby. However she texts him a lot still, but more of friend rather than SO sweet talk. She needs financial help from him and he is not sure if that is the only reason she is keeping him around. She said she loves him, but is not in love with him and doesn't know if she ever has been. Is it possible the hormones and pregnancy is taking over and he just wait patiently and give her space. Or does he just move on?
