Wine for the holidays?!

I posted this in another app and thought I would share here too. My sister works at a liquor store and they have alcohol- free wine. *less than .05%, which apparently is the same Amt you would use to cook with. Holidays are here and for those who may not be ready to announce but will be around people who are drinking, you could always bring a bottle and fill your own glass and no one would ever be suspicious as to why you're not drinking... The moscato tastes like apple juice; but for me just drinking out of a wine glass made it seem like I was actually drinking some wine. Just wanted to share this awesome stuff :)

You could also use this as a trick.

Pour the contents of the low alcohol wine into a regular wine bottle and take it with you. See which people in your family pretend to be drunk. 😁 ...now I might do this.

I will probably be blasted for saying this but - go crazy and have a glass or two! Check out the book "expecting better": there is no evidence the occasional drink harms baby, as most of the rest of the world (except those of us in the u.s) know. Happy Holidays!!!

Just a note - the alcohol content is 0.5%, not 5%. Normal wines are usually 10-14%. So drinking a whole bottle of this stuff (5 servings), would be equivalent to about an ounce or so of normal wine (that's 1/5 of a standard pour).

I read somewhere that orange juice and 7-up have just as much alcohol in it as o'douls. I was craving beer for some reason while pregnant and my doctor suggested non alcoholic beer and said just don't drink more than 1 or two. He had also told me drinking a glass of red wine every other day helps mine and the babies heart. My daughter just turned 3 and she is happy and very healthy.

I suppose this would do. I think there are great fizzy alcohol free grape juices that resemble champagne. That's what I had at thanksgiving. But I'm openly and hugely pregnant. You could also just say you are on prescription and cannot drink. That wouldn't require so much work in deception. Do what you feel is best
