Yes it's a form of Christianity. In general Christianity is an umbrella term for the various denominations that exist under it. There's a saying that can be used. "Every Catholic is a Christian, but not every Christian is a Catholic" kind of thing. If you don't think that Catholicism is Christianity, congratulations. A satanist knows more than you about your own religion. (Assuming you consider yourself one of the aforementioned faiths).

Omg, my husband and I argue about this all the time! I call us both Christians, I was raised Baptist, but now consider myself non-dominational. My husband was raised Catholic but now goes to the church I currently go to (when he isn't fishing). I said we were both Christians, he got all offended and said he was still Catholic. I just stared at him like he was the biggest idiot and slowly asked him if he believed in Jesus. He pulled out his cross necklace and said, "duh!" "Then you are a Christ follower?" "Yeah." "Christ died for your sins, He is God's son?" "YES!" "YOU'RE A CHRISTIAN!" "I'M CATHOLIC!" and then I gave up.

It is but I have been baffled on here because I spent 3 or so years on another app where the Catholics and non had to constantly say "Catholics ARE Christians" So then I got here and some Catholics were saying they are not Christian. And tried hard to explain why. If you've given and devote your life to God/Jesus, you are a Christian. Period.

I was taught (at Catholic school) that christian spelt with a small c is an umbrella term that encompasses people of all religions/denominations that believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God. Christian with a capital C is a christian who doesn't follow Catholicism.
