Herpes

I hate talking about this to anyone so this is my best option. My boyfriend tested positive for herpes type 1 so my mom took me to get tested. My results came back positive for both type 1 and type 2 and I have no idea how this happened being that he's the only guy I've been with sexually. I just need some advice or comments. This scares me a lot cause I'm so young (17). Anything helps thank you.
