Ovulation question. HELP

My ovulation week started on Nov and continues dec. I got a positive test on the 3rd and had bleeding/spotting on the 4th. Question is why is their still a color on the testing side. I thought it didn't show anything after you ovulated. Please explain I don't know anything of this.
