Depo shot?

Question

I'm currently on progesterone only pill and I can't ever remember to take my medication. 
Have any of you ladies gotten the shot? Pros and cons?

I was on the depot for 6 years and it may be convenient right now but when you are ready to have another one is when you will see the ugly side of depo. It completely screws up your hormones.

I was on the shot for 2 years. What they don't tell you when you start it is how big of an effect it'll have when you decide to have children.... It may make the process longer for sure. It has in my situation

I was on the Depo for over 5 years. My husband & I decided to start trying in June. I got my first period after being off of it the end of November. That's the part they don't tell you. It can take up to 18 months for you to regulate. Took 5 months of waiting for a period. I will never do it again!

Don't do it!! It messes with everything. Can make it difficult to conceive when you're ready and made me gain weight like crazy!

I was in the depot shot for 6 months...I had my period EVERYDAY straight for 9 months! My last shot was in March and my cycle is still all screwed up!
