Ok idk what group to put this in but did i do a good thing???

I was at work and the person for a give back group was there (we will call him J) so j asked me to get him a pop and a snack because he had not alot of money on him.. So i of course said yes definitely im very blessed and fortunate to have what i have so i like to give back so anyways i gave J the pop and snack And said merry Christmas he thanked me and said god bless❤❤❤ good thing???
