Protein in urine 😩

So today I had a scan and everything looked great. BP was okay but there was protein in my urine. I've had mild swelling and tons of cramping and back pain lately, but my cervix looked okay too...I didn't see my normal Dr. just the nurse practitioner and she said I was probably just dehydrated. I'm still concerned with my previous history of premature labor. Has anyone had protein in their urine and it be nothing???
