Am I the only one who got pregnant while on birth control? I tell people that and they look at me funny.

I got pregnant on the pill too! People always assume I wasn't taking it right or on antibiotics. They look at me crazy when I tell them I took it the same time everyday 😂

All three times that I've been pregnant have been on some form of birth control my first two were conceived on the pill and they made it full term and the last one was conceived on the mirena and we lost that one at about 8 weeks now that we're trying to conceive I can't seem to get pregnant lol

My sister in law got pregnant THREE times while on the pill. It is not completely effective, just like condoms or anything else, there is always a chance. And here I am not in the pill and I've never had a preg scare. Men need to read up on these things that we have to go through!

I've read that it's quite common in women who ovulate more than once in a cycle. The pill stops you from ovulating around day 14 but if you're someone who's body naturally gears up for ovulation again then you may still ovulate later.

I'm experiencing the same thing right now. This is my first pregnancy and I was on the pill. In fact, when my I told my SO that I had positive urine tests, the first thing he asked me was if I purposely stopped taking the pill. When I told him I was positive I had taken my pill regularly, he didn't believe me. Birth control pregnancies happen !

My mom and sister are those rare finds that actually need the pill to get pregnant. I don't know the whole history/science whatever behind it, but I do know they weren't able to conceive without it.

It hasn't happened to me personally but it happened to my friend, my mother-in-law (when she was pregnant with my husband) and my mom with my brother! The pill is def not foolproof!
