How soon after a mc can you ttc again?

I just found out this week that we lost our baby to a miscarriage. I was 5 weeks. It started out as light spotting and just kept getting worse. The cramping started last night. And they compared my levels from Sunday (79) to Tuesday (28). We are still mourning but we are unsure as to when we should try again. I've never been through this before and I'm lost. Some guidance would do me wonders.

My doctor told me 2-3 cycles after my d&e in February. But the surgeon said wait 1 cycle. Then after my ectopic treated with methotrexate I was told to wait 1 cycle minimum but ended up having an HSG and told to wait another cycle so I could start fertility meds. It ended up being about 3 months before we started TTC again because of my cycles being 40+ days. So sorry for your loss.

At 5 weeks, if this was your first within 12 months, you could take a cycle off, but at 5 weeks the body heals quicker and you don't even have to wait. It hadn't had time to really cause enough changes. You may still chose to wait 1 cycle. If it was your only in a year but after 6 weeks your doc would most likely tell you to wait 1 cycle. Mine did. He says if you have had more than 1 in a year he would recommend waiting 3-6 months. He says some docs have way more restrictions and want longer wait times (like a year) but he couldn't imagine going through the loss and being told he had to wait a year when the body can jump back faster and stronger than it was and get a baby here safely before then.

I had an early miscarriage in September. Had a period in October. Got pregnant in November and miscarrying right now. I'll wait a month and try again. Praying for my rainbow.

I just miscarried - it was a missed miscarriage so baby was about 5.5 weeks and i miscarried naturally this morning at about 9 weeks. Dr said we can start trying again immediately once the bleeding stops, but wants to do a lot of blood work on me first bc this was my 2nd mc this year :(

I had a d&c on Nov 27 and just had my follow up appointment yesterday. Dr said to wait 1 cycle and then can start again. Im cramping pretty bad so she thinks my period will come in 2 weeks. After thats done, we will try again

I was also 5 wks when I miscarriaged last wk. My dr. Said once my levels are back to normal I could try after my first period. I got my blood work yesterday and they are back to normal so I could try once I got my period. I've read that it's ok to start right away but drs usually want you to wait 1 cycle so they could predict the due date.

I also 5 weeks and miscarrying right now. I have read with it being this early in my pregnancy you can get pregnant in one cycle.
