What breast pump are you going with?

Is there that much of a difference in pumps? I'm waiting to hear back from my insurance what pumps are covered, just curious what ones you all think are better.

Spectra S2! It's a closed system (meaning no breast milk back flow) and has a 2 year warranty. The medela is not a closed system and has been known to grow mold, ick!

Put in a request Tuesday and had it delivered today (Wednesday)! I didn't have a choice of what brand but I'm just super excited I got a breast pump with all these stuff to come along with it...

Medela freestyle or pump in style

My insurance covers by provider not by model. One of the providers sells the Medela pump in style and that's what I'm getting!

My insurance only covers a manual pump which is fine since I'm a SAHM. I'm going with the Avent manual and if I should need an electric I will purchase the spectra s2

My insurance covers amenda and Medela pump in style. I chose Medela. I don't know much about breast pumps but out of my choices it seemed that Medela would be better for pumping at work (what I need it for) and amenda would be better for home use.

Usually the madela or ameda are covered and the fda says to never use a used breast pump unless it was yours from a prior pregnancy and most insurances cover them now or you can get one from wic... My cousin used madela in the hospital and ameda at home and the ameda has more setting options than the madela but you have to pull it in and out of the bag to use it where the madela is built into the bag... I had an avent manual with my youngest and loved it, it had silicone breast stimulators that I haven't seen on any other pumps but I can get a madela or ameda for free so I plan on getting the avent cup things and trying them on the pump I get to see if they make a difference (I think they did as the madela manual I couldn't get anything out and I pumped like a champ with the avent)

Medela 100%. Super amazing and professional grade. I got mine off kijiji. You could check Craig's list also. Everything can be sterilized or bought cheaply.. hoses etc.
