Earlier than you thought?

Question

Anyone been to their first appointment thinking they were farther along then your not? I thought I was 9 and I'm only 6 weeks. Kind of depressing because I looked forward to making it through the first trimester knowing I had better chances of not miss carrying.

My first ultrasound is Monday and I so want to be where they think I am which will be 8w 4d then.

How do they determine how far along you are?  I'm 7 weeks 4 days based on my lmp and I ovulated 10 days later so would that put me further back or ahead or the same lol

I think it's common for dates to be off! I was a few days ahead of schedule... Either way as long as lil bean progresses I wouldn't worry!

Same here. Thought I was 11 weeks, I'm actually 8 weeks. I'm just trying to see it as more prep time!

Yes I thought I was 9 weeks turns out I'm 7 weeks 1 day as of Monday I have another appt on Monday of next week. She didn't give me a due date. But did say right off the bat that I wasn't as far along as I thought I was. Since baby was small and she was having trouble finding it.

I was two weeks behind. I think it's actually really common to ovulate past the 14th cycle day and have your due date be behind your LMP prediction.

Yup, I ovulated later than I thought. I'm about 6 days behind where I thought I was.

Same happened to me. I counted an additional 2 weeks because of the first day of LMP, however I ovulated a a full 2 weeks later than expected. I'm 7 weeks now, when I went for my dating scan I thought I was 8 weeks when I was only 6.

I went to an emergency pregnancy service place because I was sure I was 8 weeks but actually felt further along. Turned out I was 5 weeks pregnant. I'm 10 weeks now. Time flies though. Congrats and I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months!!
