This is the special guy in my life talking to one of my friends about us. Any thoughts as to what it means? From what I got from it, he doesn't want a friendship or relationship right now, but if we rekindle in the future he wouldn't stop it from happening.

Sounds like he wants to do him. He's not looking for anything from you but one day I  the future if  you two talk again he wants friends if that goes well could be more, but Def not looking to that anytime soon or in the near future
