Teenage pregnancy?

The thought of having a baby so young isn't what everyone seems to be putting it as. I mean the rude judgements everyone makes to pregnant teens is that something you'd say to a pregnant 20 year old? Maybe being young and pregnant isn't the positive feeling you want but is it as bad as everyone is putting it out to be?

I became pregnant at 25 and had my baby at 26 and everyone was supportive but a lot of my friends/strangers/family thought I was too young. I think you're way too young, but I suppose it could turn out okay. Without insurance having a baby is like 15 or 30,000. Idk- just make sure you're financially and emotionally prepared!

I only say it is bad because I have seen the suffering it has caused young women vs women who waited. Divorce rates are higher for the 18 to 21 year olds.

My boyfriend was told he could never have kids. I was surprised when I got a positive pregnancy test. So my baby is a miracle. I wouldn't trade this for the world. Age 17.

I think it depends on your situation. I fell pregnant at 18 I had been with my partner for 2 years at that point, we had our own house, good jobs and where very responsible. We received nothing but positivity and excitement from everyone around us, not one single judgmental comment. Unfortunately we misscarried And had another 2 miscarriages after that. We are now 20 and expecting our daughter in April and still no judgement. I don't think people would be so accepting if we where not in a position to have a baby and I think that would be fair. It will be hard at any age but if you can't give a child the life it deserves, don't have one.
