Weird situation...

Okay I normally start my periods around the 20th-22nd each month. October I had my period as normal. And then I had spotting/light bleeding the 7th-10th of November. It was extremely light, no tampons needed. But never had anymore bleeding or no sign of AF around the usual dates. If the spotting was a period, I'm 3 days late. If not, and should've had my period the 22nd, I'm around 17 days late. Should I take a test or wait until closer to Christmas to see if AF shows up as normal again?
