Medicines?? Please Help!!

It seems some of the medicines I swore by in my previous pregnancies are now either linked to birth defects (sorry if I recommended them to you ladies, I didn't know!) or do not work for me any longer. I'm desperate for some medicines that work for heartburn and nausea. I have yet to see my doctor and have not received a "safe list" yet. I'm 7 and a half weeks with my third. Thanks in advance!

I used tums and Maalox for heartburn before getting a script from my doctor. For nausea, regular unisom tablets and vitamin b6...I took half tab of unisom and 50mg of b6 up to three times a day.

Most over the counter heartburn stuff is just fine - try googling pregnancy medication safe list. Only look at reputable pages though- like medical centers/hospitals. If you call your OB, they can usually send you a safe med list or can tell you where to find it on their website/another website.

I take Zantic. You can take it twice a day but I only took it if I got heart burn or if I knew I was going to eat something that would trigger it
