My name is Jessica and I lost my first child to miscarriage

My name is Jessica, I'm 21 years old. My fiancée and I were surprised by a little miracle in October. We found I was 6 weeks pregnant! The baby's due date was my grandfather's birthday who unfortunately passed last October. After a bout of cramping and spotting and two grueling trips to the emergency room, we lost our baby at 8 weeks gestation. The grief is unbareable some days. We took another big step in the healing process and gave our child a name, because the baby was a child, it deserves an identity. We decided on Kadyn, a unisex name since we did not know the sex. Giving our precious baby a name has helped us greatly on our journey through grief. I live everyday for Kadyn now.
