Preeclampsia anyone?

Anyone had it before or going through it now what should I expect? What can I do to help If anything?

I had it with my second and third....preparing to get it again.

You can't really so anything....ask your doctor about baby aspirin once a day.
Also, Apple cider vinegar first thing in the morning can help with your blood pressure....make sure you drink enough water too....

I had it with my first.  It came on very suddenly and I was induced immediately.  Thankfully, I was 39 weeks.  This time around my doctor and I are talking about a low dose aspirin regimen to help.prevent.

I went on bedrest at 31 weeks and was induced at 34 weeks because of it. The only things I really remember is being super swollen and I was constantly hot with a red face because of my bp being high all the time.

I was put on bed rest at 36 weeks and induced at 38. My dr didn't want to call it pre eclampsia because I didn't have high levels of protein every check even though my BP was 200/100 on medication. The swelling was horrible! I would get it from just standing up long enough to shower, halfway up my calves.

I had it with my son. I was hospitalized @35.5 weeks & given magnesium to try to lower my BP. That didn't work. I was induced @36 weeks

I had it my last pregnancy and am high risk for it now. I didn't feel any different at all. It was actually a very smooth pregnancy. I went in for my 25 week appointment and my blood pressure was raised and I had high levels of protein in my urine. I went to get monitored but it had progressed so quickly I had my son a few days later. Just be on the look out for vision changes and edema and go to the hospital if you notice these at all. Try and relax as much as possible and stay stress free. Good luck

I had with for my daughter. I got put in the hospital for 2 and 1/2 weeks before I got induced to have her.

I'm dealing with symptoms of it but haven't been officially diagnosed. My specialist put me on bed rest at 26 weeks I just lay on my left side all day relaxing and drinking as much water as possible.  The only time my blood pressure goes up is if I get anxious or go to the doctor otherwise it is really good I have to take it 3 times a day. I've had to do a couple of 24 hour urines and had high protein.
