How much sleep?

How many hours does your baby sleep in a 24 hour period? My son is 8 weeks and goes to bed between 9-10...wakes 3 hours later...feeds for 15-30 mins, back to sleep til 12-1 feeds again, wakes between 3-4 to eat again then back til about 6 or 7. During the day he MAYBE sleeps a total of 3 hours with broken cat naps. He's not crabby or over tired...just shocked that she doesn't require more sleep...my ped even sounded surprised!
