I hate periods

so, I'm usually a consistent period girl. five days, not heavy, all good. starts up every 28 days typically. no big deal. now, my period is real out of play. I didn't have one in November, December I did, it started earlier than my app did and let on longer than five days, the last two spotting but still. I'm not sure if it's my bodies change from my miscarry back in August or what? what do you think is going on?
