Mucus plug??? No picture!

Ftm here/ But last night I had two globs pieces that were thick and yellowish, also this morning. Just turned 37 wks, but I would like to know does your mucus plug have to be bloody or can it be yellowish? I'm asking because someone said it varies between women but I've always heard it would be bloody or browinsh. Help?? 😐

I think it varies. With my daughter it was yellowish almost a greenish tint to it... but I have been told that it can have blood in it...if you're in active labor when it comes out.

It does vary from woman to woman. I can tell you mine is thick, very thick, and has blood in it. It came out during active labor with my first. I was 5-6cm and I looked at it and though "oh, that's what it looks like!" It was very obvious. I lost mine at 26 weeks with my second, but it regenerates. It's not a great indicator of impending labor. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
