How long will my diaper stash last?

I have 10 packs of these do you think I have enough? should i start buying a different variety of sizes now? it's my first baby so, I really don't know how much or what to get diaper wise...

I wouldn't get too many packs of newborns .. they don't last long. My kids maybe lasted a week or two in them . Start buying a variety

Don't waste money on newborn diapers. You'll be able to snag some from the hospital and you'll be set. Buy 1s and 2s. We started buying big boxes of varieties when we found out we were pregnant with #1 a few years back. Between that and noting "bring a package of diapers to be entered into a prize drawing!" On our baby shower cards, we didn't buy diapers for the first 2 years. Now our first is almost 3 and we've been potty training since the summer, so we've gotten really lucky.

I usually buy size 2s because family give me newborn diapers and who knows how big this baby will be. He may be in size ones after one month.

I would buy different types of diapers. I thought I wanted Huggies and my son leaked every time in them so we had to return all of them and get pampers!

I think new borns go through about 10 diapers a day- a lot of times new borns only fit in new born size diapers for only a short time

Unless you have a tiny baby you wont need that many newborn stock up on size ones

I have literally requested no newborn diapers and have not bought a single one.... I honestly don't understand the need for them as most babies are in the range of size ones before they go home from the hospital unless you have a small child and the doctor can tell you that closer to delivery date. Hospitals supply you with the new born diaper as well and if we needed any we can get a pack on the way home. I'd say start getting the next two sizes up!!!
