Good newborn car seat?

So I got this almost new car seat from a family friend and I'm a FTM so I don't really know what's good and what's not, but do any of you ladies have this car seat? It's the Chicco keyfit30 I believe. What do you think of it?

It's a pretty good car seat I used this one for both of my boys.

It's a good car seat.  I had one for my youngest and have also bought one for our 3rd on the way.  We love it! !

It's a good seat. Just check the expiration date and triple check it's never been in an accident.

I've heard they're good. You can always just google the name and add reviews onto the end of it, or safety rating. They all have to pass the same standards only difference is name brand, how much the seat weighs depending on how much padding and what kind of plastic they use and what extra features it has. I just got a basic seat, the baby trend click connect I think it's called from toys r us for 100 plus tax on sale. It works with my stroller and I got it because it will also work with my new stroller when I get it so that's a bonus for me :) I like making sure things will stretch as far as possible usage wise.
