Breast milk and diarrhea??

Question

First time mom! Bare with me...my baby is 5 days old....my milk just started coming in yesterday...he's therefore getting less formula...as of today it's been all Breast milk (expressed and directly to Breast). I've noticed that his stool is loose and more "explosive." He's in no pain or discomfort. Sleeps well eats well. Peeing well. He just farts explodes and goes back to business as usual. Has anyone experienced this??? Is it "normal?" I read that as long as he's comfortable and in no discomfort its "okay" (maybe he's still going through the 'poop changes' that happens at he beginning of life). ANY input will be helpful 😊😊

Sounds normal to me. Breastfed babies have liquidy poo.

Completely normal. My baby girl is 11 days old and  you can literally feel the breast milk going through her haha. She is bottle fed since she lost 10% of her birth weight. I'm having to keep track of how many ounces she is drinking.

My son had wet farts for 3 weeks and Doctor said all is normal as long as they don't seem in pain and still have plenty of wet diapers.

Breastfed babies poo doesn't stink!! Lol its completely normal they digest a lot easier

Residual formula is probably still in your LOs system. I don't know what healthy formula poo looks like but I'll tell you breastfeeding poo looks like (what adults would consider) diarrhea. Are you gassy at all? What you eat has a direct effect on your baby. If you're gassy even in the least your baby definitely will be gassy.
