Shyness/Embarrassment in Bed

So my husband and I have been married for 5 months now, and we haven't been able to get it in, he is just too big and I am too small. I went to the doctor and there is no diagnosis yet except for "the first few months it is going to get and you have to get through it." That being said, we are working on just getting it in at all. We bought a vibrator to try to ease things a bit, and when he is not at home, I use it to loosen up and try to get it in, and it has worked some. However, I am way too embarrassed and shy to let myself go, or to reach pleasure in front of him and I can't get over it. He likes to focus just one me with toys and whatnot, but it makes me uncomfortable to be in the spotlight, the sole focus. How do I get past this? He comes in front of me nearly every day when we do hand jobs, and he loves it, but I am too shy even though we are married. He thinks there is nothing to be afraid of, and that we will do things together, but I just do not feel confident or secure enough. What can help?
