Questions about doctors *long post*
This is my first pregnancy and I was curious how involved your doctors were with you? For instance; I was seeing one OB and I loved her bedside manner, her personality, and she made everything she told me easy to understand. But she never once gave me a baby weight estimate, positioning (trust me I tried figuring it out during the two ultrasounds I had), and haven't been given any info about the hospital stay portion.
I now see a new OB because of a recent insurance switch, and he is nice, but I feel strange vibes off him and it's unsettling. He is more involved I would say but he was going in blind at 32 weeks, beings the docs hadn't sent him my medical files.
I'm 36 weeks today, and I feel like I've missed certain info I should have already been told or asked about? Is it considered insulting to express this feeling to my OB? What are some ways to do so without coming across like a bitchy woman.
I just want to know where I'm supposed to go once I get to the hospital. better description of what actual contractions feel like vs Braxton hicks. when they think he is coming, on the due date or earlier like I think he is. Should I fill any paper work out beforehand beings I'm not going to do it during labor if my water has already broke.
I feel a little out of the loop. Anyone else feel this way?
