Weird bleeding problems...kinda tmi

For four days during my fertile window I had some bleeding, the first day it soaked a panty liner, and it got less heavy the last three days but still blood! Then two days ago I suddenly got very shaky and dizzy, and then passed a blood clot that was about the size of a dime. My period is predicted a week and a day away. I currently won't have medical coverage until mid January, so I cannot afford to go in to see the doctor until then. Has anyone else had symptoms like these? Do you know what it could be?
