I would try and avoid blue dye test because sometimes they give you a false positive.

I honestly have used the dollar tree tests and they have always been accurate for me. But I would try a variety of brands and see what works for you.

I used Clear Blue blue dye (I know most ladies will say they are not reliable) and got my first positive. I used First Response Early Response a few hours later and could barely see the line -- I would have thought it was negative if I hadn't already gotten a positive with the blue dye. Then, that evening, I used one of the tests from the dollar store and saw a clear pink line. I don't know why, but it is always harder for me to see a positive result on a First Response than any other test. I think it's because the window is slightly curved so the line needs to be quite dark in order for it to show through. My suggestion is dollar store tests -- they are just as accurate as First Response and much easier to read.
