Need help!!

My husband won't talk to me!! He is upset and acting like he is two because me and his father went in on something for him for Christmas!! And he totally flipped over it!! To the point he says we aren't going to go up there for Christmas now!! We have been together for 11 years married for  four!! I'm afraid to even open my mouth because it just going to lead to me getting upset and crying and him shutting down!! I love him so much but really act li your two about this and it's already done and it's something you can't take back!! So any advice for me?
