Doig IUI?

Question

Hey ladies would love to know who here has done IUI and at what point did you decide to do it? What was the cost? Overall experience? I'm going on my second round of Clomid in a few days and my fertility doctor has made mentions of doing IUI. I have unexplained fertility and everything we've done has come back normal (blood, semen, HSG, ultrasound). I'm nervous to be taking sex out of the equation as it just feels less intimate but we are so incredibly ready and want a baby. I feel like every month that goes by I'm just loosing time that my kids would have with my parents who are already in their upper 60s. Just not sure what to do or to go that route....

This is our exact situation, nothing is wrong with either one of us and we have unexplained infertility as well. We went straight to doing an IUI and we didn't look at it like getting rid of our intimacy, in all reality it took the pressure off the times we were intimate. We good really enjoy each other because we weren't stressed about "if this time will work". We've done two IUI and I am now pregnant! An IUI is just getting the sperm to where it needs to be at the right time, it's still you and it's still your spouse creating life your just getting assistance with getting everything in the right place.
