When u found out u were pregnant did anybody take a ovulation test jus to see if its true that if ur pregnant the ovulation test will be positive also?

An ovulation test isn't a pregnancy test. It's common to get multiple positive opks in a cycle, so in early pregnancy (about 4 weeks), the opk is still picking up LH. When Hcg gets really high, it has the similar chemical structure as LH so that's why a pregnant woman can test positive with an opk and not have any LH in their system.

I did and never got an opk to turn positive even when my pregnancy tests were bold positives.

Yes but not until around 7 weeks and just for shits and giggles since I got my positive pregnancy tests at 10dpo and blood test at 4 weeks so I knew for sure I was pregnant. And yes it was super dark positive. It won't show that way until after a pregnancy test should as well so it's not reliable for testing for pregnancy though.
