How soon is to soon..

I had a miscarriage December 6, and the doctor wanted us to wait on sex for about 3 months but yea that's not us lol.. Anyways I was wondering how soon can you can have sex after a miscarriage, I have stopped bleeding.. And no cramping.. (Btw I was almost 10 weeks when we lost the baby)
