Did you help paint your nursery?

I'm OCD when it comes to painting, and want to have it done this weekend. I don't know if I can let someone do it for me...

I did it all myself. My doctor said keep the windows open with a fan and it's fine.

Look for low voc paint and my doctor said stay away from oil based- even non pregnant people can get high off that. I painted while pregnant. Kept windows open and fan on. I think it was a latex paint. If I got paint on me I washed it off right away .

My boyfriend and I painted our room/the babies nursery all by ourselves for hours straight and it only took two nights to complete. By the second night, we had already moved in. I made sure to keep the windows cracked even though the room is giant, but i think the size of the room definitely helped when it came to no paint smell. I wasn't able to do the walk in closet however because it didn't have any ventilation so he did that mostly himself. He made sure every hour or so that I'd go outside and take a small break and made sure I had cold water to drink whenever I needed. I'm a do it myself kind of gal, so painting was important to me, but I did ask my OB beforehand and he said it was fine. Just take breaks!

My mom used to paint houses for a living. She still worked through both of her pregnancies just fine lol and I will be painting my baby girls room completely on my own because her daddy can't even draw a straight line lol

Thanks ladies. I plan to have windows open on the second floor and a fan going. I'm only doing two walls a day, and with the room being so small it shouldn't take me long. I'll be using a latex paint from Sherwin Williams.
