Post Pregnancy Question ???

Question

Ladies, I had my son Tuesday night. I was on IV fluid from Monday night up until Wednesday morning. I had 5 or 6  IV bags and was wondering how long after birth did it take for all the fluid to go down? 
My feet are so swollen right now and they didn't even swell the whole time I was pregnant. 
(Also, I had a c-section, if that may have anything to do with it.)

Sound similar to me but I had vaginal birth... 
For me swelling and fluids finally went away after 6 days. The 7th day I was able to walk and bend my joints pretty normally. My fingers were total sausages and my husband had to help breastfeed my son, very weird to not have your joints move.

Probably about 10 days to two weeks hum but when it comes off its almost immediate, good luck!

Took about ten days for me. My feet were soooooo huge up until then they hurt bad . Now I'm 2 weeks PP and it's all gone!

same time frame but a vaginal birth.. My swelling was almost gone about a week later

I didn't have a c section but my feet were sooooo swollen after I had my daughter! I think they were still a bit swollen when we left the hospital

I wasn't on fluids for as long as you but I also had a c section a swelled afterwards too. I had mine on the 4th abd the swelling just went down a couple days ago. I also didn't swell during my pregnancy

I also had a c section and my feet got swollen after as well, and like you i didn't swell the whole pregnancy. It went down after I started walking around more...a couple days and I was normal
