Induction or wait it out?!

I'm 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I had an appointment yesterday and my cervix are tightly closed & my not dialating any. I've had a problem with my heart rate being very high for about a month now. I went to a cardiologist and was put on a beta blocker. Yesterday at my appointment my Dr said that I can be induced at 39 weeks because of my heart rate affecting my pregnancy. He said if I can wait it out that would be good to. My baby girl is 2 weeks ahead in weight and size (8-9 pounds if I go full term.) I guess my question is how was it when you were induced? Should I try and wait it out. I know labor isn't going to be easy either way but was induction harder on you?
