Mother in law, thinks it's her baby?

My mother in law... Omg.. Why does she act like my baby is her baby?

Today she told me I can't go visit my family in Las Vegas after the baby was born unless the baby stays with her, because I was not taking HER baby to Vegas!! And I was not putting HER baby on an airplane.. I told her "uuhhh yes I am" and she crossed her arms and threw a fit!

I'm so tired of this woman...

Today I had a doctor appointment and it was at 4:30. She insisted in taking me to the appointment, so I asked if we could make sure to get there no earlier than 4:30 so they wouldnt take me in early so my husband could make it there in time (He gets off work around the same time) and she was like why does he need to be here??? I was like because he never gets to go! She was like so! Neither do I! I never get to see my baby either! And the whole time during our wait at the doctor she was rubbing my belly and saying I can't wait to see my baby! And talking to my belly saying "you want to come stay with me huh??" And then after I told her the doctor said I need to pick a pediatrician and I told her the one I picked and she was like "oh no, my baby will not go see that doctor she's going to "Dr. So-n-so" I swear if she calls it her baby one more time!

Is any one else experiencing their mother in law acting like this??? If so give me some pointers on how to deal with this! Ima go crazy soon...

She's got a rude awakening once the baby gets here if she thinks that she's going to continue doing this!
