Itchy vag help

So my boyfriend fingered me pretty hard yesterday but this morning I woke up and my vag is super itchy. It looks a little red too like sort of a red ring around it all. I have a pretty bad outbreak of herpes 1 on my mouth from stress but I'm worried I spread it or something. My vaginas just itchy though. Is there anything I can put on it or can I just leave it and not scratch?
