Period after iud removal ?

So I got my iud removed 11-30-15 and I haven't started my cycle yet nor have I even spotted ? Is this normal? Should I have had a period yet? What was your experience like and how long did it take you to get pregnant?

Which IUD did you have! I had mirena for about 6 months shy of the 5 year mark and I always spotted while I had it but never a cycle. I had a normal cycle my second month off of it... I bleed heavy for 2 weeks straight after removal and never thought the end was in sight!! But it did take 2-3 months for me to feel "normal"

I had to start taking hormone pills to get a regular period. But also because I'm trying to conceive so I wanted to hurry and get my period.

I had my Iud out 12/13 and started a period the following day which lasted 4 days. Fingers crossed for everyone

It took me 6 weeks to get a period after getting it removed, my gyno told me it can take 6-12 months in some people.
