How do you know when your ovulating?

I been using the one step ovulation tests from eBay but how do I know when I'm ovulating myself? What symptoms should I look out for?

And I get a tapping pain on my left pelvis

I can always tell by my cervical mucous. And I usually have little cramps on o day. I used to use opks till I knew when I was myself.

I get the pain when im ovulating thats how i know but also use ovulation test just to make sure

It should tell you on the packaging exactly, but the positive indicates a window of, I believe, 24-36 hours till you ovulate. Good luck.
