Taking a leave of absence

Adina • I`m 24 with a 2 year old boy and another on the way. Married for 3 yrs.
Thankfully i have not been put on bed rest but I am high risk for entering back into the hospital at any point bc I have vasovagal syncope so I'm always fainting & having different symptoms that make it hard to do everyday life things sometimes. I literally am at the store for no more than 30 mins if I'm alone bc I start to get hot, fast heartbeat & faint like.  I've been to the hospital 4 times already from Nov 20th up until a few days ago & had 24hr stays each time. My family thinks I should just go ahead & submit a leave of absence for the remainder of these two months to avoid being over worked & having to end up back in the hospital. Truthfully a lot of my symptoms even happened @ work & it is a big stress reliever when I don't have to return to that place. What would you all do? I want to take the leave of absence I just want to make sure it's the right time to do it & I am really tired at this point.
