Random people, probably not. SO or close family..... Maybe. My husband knew. Ofc, he came home to me scrubbing the walls of my staircase while sobbing into the bucket of soapy water because I couldn't get them to not look patchy so.... Yeah.

I had post partum depression for 7 months after my child was born. No one noticed anything. But I knew I was depressed, it didn't get to taking medication but I dealt with it one day at a time.
