What to do

So I have had 2 miscarriages within 18 months and both my partner and I would like a baby. Was getting frustrated and felt like giving up, over a week ago I ended up in a and e and the doc said my hcg was above average and there's a possibility that I could be preggers and to wait to see if I get a period. 3 days late and a little scared to take a test. Don't want to get my hopes up and then it be ruined again
