Poll: am I doing the right thing?

My wife and I found out we were expecting in November after suffering a miscarriage early this year. This pregnancy also ended in miscarriage however it's been a bit complicated. Her levels haven't gone to zero yet and she's still bleeding for a little over four weeks now. Now the question: My family lives out of town and we always do ski trips the first week after New Years. I haven't been able to join them in 3 years. So naturally this year I am eager to go. But my wife doesn't feel up to it due to the miscarrIge and its complications. I'm planning on going without her because my family needs me. We've all had a real bad year and could use time together to have some fun and quality time. My question is should I go or should I stay with my wife? would it be wrong to leave her even though my family needs me too?
